ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR REPAIR OF PORTLAND CEMENT CONCRETE SIDEWAIK,
DRIVEWAY, CURB AND CUTTER FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE
30, 1955, CALLING FOR BIDS AND 1 CITY CLERK
TO ADVERTISE SAME
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Prbvidions
and Plana for repair of Portland Cement Concrete Sidewalk', Drld:bway, Curb and Gutter
for the fiscal year endirz rune 30, 1955, which. afb numbered F. 5-54-7 and were filed
in the office of the City Clerk on May iS, 1954;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PELAMEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special. Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the SRMe are hereby approved and adopted-
RESOLVE1), FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
r)8 08281 in said. Specifications and Provisicne be, and the same is hereby, authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda. 8. 11 receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 6:05 o,clock P. M. en Tuesday, 1-1.10.(2 1, 1.954, for the
furnishing to the City of all labor,.materials and. 011818 88110 necessary for 08.l18 08(1,
and/or constructing Portland Cement Concrete sidbwalk, driveway, curb and gutter in
the atreets of the City of Alameda for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1955, in
accordance with said Specifications; and Provisions. Bids mat be presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda, California, ander sealed cover and plainly
narked on the outdide "Proposal for Repair of Sidewalk, Curb apd Gutter', or similar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded. subject to the provisions of the
Charter of sgib City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest to bast bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Special Provisions may be had by any pxosbective
bldder or application to the City. Engineer, at his office in. the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is herbby directed to advertise, in the Alambda Tikes-Star
a notice calling for scaled bids in accordance with the 0600 18.010 of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions.
