TEE COUNCIL OF ThE CITY OF ALAkEDA that the publ.ie interest requires, and said Council hereby declares its intention to order the vacation, closing and abandonment of three oublin pathwaya situate in Waterside Terrace, in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: Three public pathways as shown upon that certain map entitled 'Map of the Waterside Terrace, Alameda, California", on file in the Alnmeda County Recorder ,s Office in Book 27 of Maps, at Page 12, and accepted by trp Council of the City of Alameda. an the 20th day of August, 1912, said pathways leading easterly from Pernside Boulevard to the U. S. Tidal Canal. RESOLVED, 11' 1111 that the said public pathways to be vacated and akandpned. and the details of said vacation are more particularly shown upon that certain map known as Drawing 126, CaEe 5, bearing the legend: "Waterside Terrace, Alameda, Cal., 1912', which map is hereby approved far the purpose of this proceeding and is hereby- ordered filed in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Alameda and marked "Filed June 1, 1954", and which map is hereby .o 06 to for particulars as to the proposed vacation. 111)1 FURTHER, that the 6.th day of July, 1954, et 6:00 o,clock P.M. of said day, in the COUNCIL CHALBERE in the 0.1)0 110., at the northwest corner of Santa Clara Avenue and Oak Street, Alameda, California, bn, and the same is hereby, fixed as the time and plaee for hearirg by the Council of said City of all persons interested. in DI' objecting to the proposed vacaticn. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Clerk of the City of Alameda is hereby directed to cause this resolution to be published, in the manner prescribed by law for the publishing of ordinances ef the City of Alameda, in the Alameda Times-Stay, a daddy newspaper of' general 0100 318010,1 published and circulated in said City, and the official newspaper thereof. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Clerk. of the City of Alameda is hereby directed to post, or cause to be posted, conspicuoualy along the line of the public pathways ereposed to be vacated and along both sides of Fernside Boulevard in the vicinity of such public pathways, notices of such proposed vacation, in the form and manner required by the legislative act hereinafter mentioned. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that in the herein proposed vacation of said three public pathways, the Council of the City of Alameda hereby elects Lo proceed under and in pursuance of the provisions of the Street Venation Act of 1941 of the State of California (Chapter 25C, Statutes of 1941), as amended. * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in reeular meeting assembled on the 1st day of June, 1954, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen An(lerson, McCall, Moresi and President Sweeney, (q).
