Resolution 04960RESOLUTION NO. )1960 ACCEPTING GRANT DEED FROM THOMAS WOOD, ALSO KNOWN AS PAUL WOOD, AND VIVIAN WOOD, HIS Ii E. , O REAL PROPERTY NEAR DAY FARM ISLAND BRIDOE, AND CONSENTING '10 THE RECORDATTON THEREOF WHEREAS, a certain Grant Deed dated July 12th, 19, made by Thomas Wood, also known as Raul Wood, and Vivian Wood, his wife, to the City of Alameda, R muni- cpal ccrporatien, was, on or about said date, executed and delivered by the grantors to the City of Alameda; and WHEREAS, by said Grant Deed, the grantors deeded to the City of Alameda certain real property reduired for the purpose of landing and anchoring power transmission cables tc be laid under the San Leandro Channel between Pay Farm Island and the an island of the City of Alameda, which real property 1.2 situated in the City of Alaneda, County of Alameda, State of California, and is more parti- cularly described in said Grant Deed; NOW THEREFORE, EE IT RESOLVED 9Y Ti E COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the aforementioned Grant Deed he, and the same is hereby, accepted on behalf of the City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said. City, hereby consents to the recordation of aaid Grant Deed and orders this resolution to be attached thereto, 23 required by Section 27261 of the Government Code of the State of California.
