ACCEPTING GRANT OF EASEMENT FROM ALASKA PACKERS
ASSOCIATION IN CERTAIN ILL PROPERTY, FOR SEWER
PURPOSES, AND CONSENTING TO THE RIT,CORDATIONS THEREOF
WHEREAS, a certain indenture dated the 22nd day of July, 1?5t;_, made by and
between Alaska Packers Association, a California corporation, party of the first part,
and City of Alameda, a muricipa; corporation, as party of the accord part, was, on or
about said date, executed and delivered by said party of the first part to the City of
Alameda; and
WHEREAS, by said indenture, the grantor therein named granted to the City of
Alameda a permanent easement and right of way to at any time, or from time to time,
construct maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew underground sanitary sewers
and/or storm drains in, through, under and along that certain parcel or striep of land
four (10 feet in width, situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of
California, and more particularly described in said indenture; and
WEEREAS, the City of Alameda did, on the 3rd day of August, 195)1, accept
said conveyance and. acquired possession of the said easement in the said real property:
NOV TIEREFORE, 131 1 RESOLVED 3Y THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforementioned indenture be, and the dame is hereby, accepted on behalf of the
City of Alameda, and. said City Council, acting for and in behalf of said City, hereby
consents to the recordation of said indenture and ordfira tAis resolution to be attached
thereto, as required by Section 27281 of the Govsrnment Code of the State of California.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in recular
meeting assembled on the 3rd day of August, 1954, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Jones, McCall, Moresi, Mayor Sweeney and .Vice-Mayer
