BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE THJPE
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 4) ALAMEDA that the Specifications and
Provisions for furnishing one new 1954, 8-passenger Chevrolet Suburban Carryall, or
Ford Ranch Wagon, or Plymouth Suburban, or epuol, to thb City of Alameda, for the
Recreation. Department, No. MS 8-54-14, filed in the office of the City Clerk on
August 17, 1954, be, and the same are hereby approved Jnd adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the COuncil of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bidh up to the hour of 805 0201020- P. M. on Tuesday, Soetemher 7, 1954, for
the furnishing to the City of said automobile, in accordonce with. said Specifications
and Provisions. Bids mwtt be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda,
Cadifornia, under sealed cover and. plainly marked on the outside., "Proposal for
Chevrolet Suburban ''3'' "11, or Ford Retioh Wagon, or Plymruth Srburban", or similar

Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to t provisions of the
Charter of said. City, to the responsible biddpr who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda. Times-Star
a notice C'4 44 for sealed bids 34' accordonre with the provisions of this resolution.
