ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AHD PLANS
FOR FURNISHING AND ERECTING A CHAIN LINK BASEBALL
BACKSTOP AT LINCOLN PARK, CAPPING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE '
WHEREAS, the City Engdneer has prepared :Specifications, Special Provisions
-end Plans for the furnishins and erecting of a chedn link baseball baktitoc at
Lincoln Park, numbered PE 1-5E-1 and. filed. in the office of the City Clerk on
December 71, 1954;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF' ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work. speci-
fied. in said Specifications and Provisions be,• and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City- of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of a:05 0,0106. P. M. on Tuesday, December 21, 195f, for
the furnishing to the City. of Alameda of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and.
equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said
Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented. to the City. Clerk, in the
City- Hell, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked. on the out-
side, "Proposal. for furnishing and erectinm chain link "1 "1) backstop at Lincoln
Park", or similar designmtion.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subjebt to the provisions of the
Che.rter of the City of Alameda, to the 17 "o'3 bidder who submits the lowest and
bnst bid. The right is reserved to reject any 0 11 ids.
Said Specifications and Provisions any be had by- any prospective. bidder
on ape:libation to the City Enclecer, at his office in the City. Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby dlrocted to advertise, in thn Alamnda Times-Star
a notice calling for coaled, in accordance with the provisions of this reolu-
tion and. of said Specifications and Provisions.
