APPROVING FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORAnUM OF AGREEMENT
FOR BlIENDITURE OF GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOX MAJOR CITY
STREETS ABB AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION THEREOF
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of Public
Works, Division of Eighways, has presented a First Supplemental Memorandum of
Agreement, ii ccordance with a project statement submitted for expenditure
by the City of the gas tax allocated under the provisions of Sections 194 and
2107 of the Streets and Highways Code, for the fiscal your 1954-1755, for
streets of major importance other than State highways, in the City of Alameda;
and.
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents of said
agreement;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT 2 2 OTINC IL el THE CITY OF ALAI\ EDP,
that said project statement be, and it is hereby, adopted. as the budget of
proposed expenditures of the gas tax allocated for streets of major importance
other than State highways, and said First Supplemental Memorandum of Agreement
be, anal the same is hereby approved, and the Mayor and the City Clerk are
directed to clan the same on behalf of said City, said agreement to be binding
upon the City upon its execution by the authorincd officials of the State.
