ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR CONSTRUUTION OF SANITARY RED STORY SEWERS IN ORDER
TO CONNECT ALAMEDA SIEBEN SISTNN TO E.B.M.U.D. SANITARY

WHEREAS, the City Enineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans for the construction of sanitary and storm sewers in order to oonneat'..the
Alameda sewer system to Ea2t Bay Municipal Utility District Sanitary Intercepter—
Unit V, nudfuered DW 12-54-23 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on Februory
1, 1955;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL 4 THE CITY OF ALANEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the some are hereby approved and adopted-
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work:
specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby
authorized_
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bins up to the hour of 0:05 oYclock P. M. on Tuesday, February 15, 13055,
for the furnishing to the City of Alameda of ell labor, materials, machinery, tools
and equipment necessary for the work hereinabove referred to, in B.CCOr0all1Ce pith
said. Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in
the City Hell, in Alameda, California, UllAlUr sealed. cover and plainly- riorked on
the outside, "Proposal for Construction of Sanitary Inc Storm Sewers to Connect
Alameda Sewer System to E.B.M.UD. Sanitary Interceotor--linit 13 or siodiar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provision of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best aid. The 1-iEnt is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may he had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City EnEineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed. to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and TTOViSiORS.
I, the underoigned, hereby cartify that the fore :going Resolution was
duly and rezularly introduced and w0ootca by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 1st clay of February, 1555, by the followinp:
