DIRECTING CITY CLRT. TO ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 07 ALAMEDA that the Specifications
and. Provisions for furnishing to the it of Alameda. one new 1955 two-door or
four-door sedan, for the Streot Department, No. LE 2-55-2, filed in the office of
the City Clerk on February 15, 1955, be, and the sarhe are hereby approved and
adopted_
RESOLVED, 2U10 1, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids tip to the hour of 3:05 o'clock 1.11. 011 Theaday, March 1, 1255, for
the furnishing to the 'lit' of said automobile, in accordance with said Specifica-
tions and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the. City- Nall,
Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked. on the outside
"Proposal for Automobile for the Street Department", or similar dosisnation.
Contract, if awarded, will he awarded subject to the provisions of the
Eharter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest end best
bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby dlrected to advertise, in the Alameda TEmoe-
Etar, a notice calling for sealed biels in accordance with the previsions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.
1, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 15tn day of February, 1255, by the following
vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Haag, Jones, McCall, Morsel and President Anderson,
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None,
