Avenue from Cottage Street to Sherman Street, numbered pw 9-54-19 and filed
in the office of the City Clerk on. February 15, 1955;

that the aforesaid. Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and
filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approvbd and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and. the same is hereby
authorized.
FFSCLVED, FURTHER, that the Coancil of the City of Alameda vEll
receive sealed bids up to the hour of 8:05 oleleck P. M. on Tuesday, March 1,
.'1)55, for the furnisndng to the City of Alameda of all labor, materials,
maethinery, tools and equipment necessary for the work hcreinabove referred to,
in accordance with said Specifications aad Provisions. Bias must be presented
to the City Cloil , in the City Loll, in Alameda, Californas, under sealed cover
and plainly marked on the outside, ',Proposal for Resurfacing and Culvert Cn-
struction on Central Avonue from Cottage Street to Sherman StreetA,, or similar
designation.
Contract, if 0311 will be awarded subject to the provisions of
the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible biddbr who submits the
lowest Inc': beet bid. The right is reserved to reject 11 or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective
bidder on application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall,
Aismnda, California.
The City Clerk is hereb y directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
, r a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance xdth the provisions of this
resolution ie of said Specifications and Provisions.
