ACCEPTING GRANT OF EASEMENT FROM HAROLD C. UARD IN
CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY, FOR STORY DRAINS, END
Si 211 TO TEE RECORDATION THEREOF

WHEREAS', a certain indenture dated the 51st of January, 1955, m9c3
by and between Harold O. Ward, as grantor, and City of Alameda, a municipal
corporation, as grantee, was, on or about said date, executed end delivered
by said grantor to the City of Alameda; and
4HEREAS, by said indenture, said grantor therein named Eranted to
the City of Alameda a permanent easement and right of way to, at any time,
or from time to time, construct, maintain, operate, replace, remove and renew
underground storm drains 1n, through, under and along a strip or parcel of
land situated in the City of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California,
and iT.Ore particularly described in Said indenture; and
J112 1:, the City of Alameda did, on the 15th day of February, 19:5.5,
accept said conveyance and acquirod possession of the said easement in the
real property;
NOM THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforementioned inUenture be, and the same is hereby, accepted on
behalf of tne City of Alameda, and said City Council, acting for and in behalf
of said City, hereby consents to the recordation of said indenture and orders
this resolution to be attached thereto, as reuhired by Sehtion 27231 of the
Government Code 01 the State of California.
