RESOLUTION MO. 5051
IN MEMORIAL TO Louas H. LARsEN
WITH HEARTFELT SORRON 1, the Council of the City of Alameda records the
death of one of the loyal and civic-minded citisens of thg City of Alameda,
LOUIS EA LARSEN, who was serving as a member of the Library Board and bad boon
a meriber of this °Board since July 1, 1943. MT. Larson had exemplified his
genuine interest in developiha the worthwhile influence of the Public Library'
by his active participation in all of the programs presented fc2 the benefit
and enjoyment of the people.
WCW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that, in recognition of his faithful
attendance at all meetings of the Library Board and his wholehearted efforts in
promoting support of the cultural activities of the Public Library for the
enlightenment of the citizens of the City, the Council of the City of Alameda
hereby expresses its sense of personal 1020 aad to gratitude for having had
such. a diligent worker in this phase of the City's public service.
BE 1 URTHER NEEMI:TED, that this Resolution be spread in full upon.
the minutes of this meetin and that a copy thereof be trandaitted to the
family of Mr. Larsen, that it may extend to its members a sincere expression of
sympathy and condolence; If
