DISTRICT FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES. (835 Taylor Avenue)
WHEREAS, the following described real property situated in. the City
of Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, to-wit:
IIRGIRWING at a point on the northern line of Taylor Avenue,
distant thereon westerly 121' feet from the Eastern line of
95 h Street; running thence along said line o Taylor Avenue
westerly 47 feet; thence at riEht angles northerly 110 feet;
thence at right angles easterly 32 feet; thence at richt
angles southerly 5 feet; thence at rint ancled easterly
15 feet; thenct: at rirgh0 angles southerly 105 feet to the
point of beginning, (TAX Ban NO. 8007, 19,54-19(0; 43 279,

has been assessed heTetofore for city- purposes for the fiscal year 1954-1955
and taxes levied thereon in the sun of t33.78 and penalties in the sun of
Dion,. of vhich sam D20.71 has been. paid, and the balance, D14.08, remains
uncollected and unpaid; and
WHEREAS, after the time said taxes or assessments and penalties and
costs thereon became a lien on said real property, it was, by Deed. recorded In
the office of the County Recorder of Alamedu County on February 1, 1955, in
Book 7555, PoIo 57, of Official Records acquired and over since has been and now
is owned by Alameda Unified School District, a public body, and has been and now
is being used for Public purposes, and because of such public ownership is not
subject to sale for delindusnt taxes;
WEIBU, said School District hue reeuested 122 cancellation of said
uncollected taxes;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED RE 22 COUNCIL OF FRE CITY CF ALAERPA,
with the written consent of the Oity Attorney attached hereto, that all
unoolleotsd taxes charged or lovied-for city purposes upon. the aforesaid real
propsrty, together with gsnalties and costs thereon, be, and the sams are hereby
cancelled, and the) Auditor and Tax Collector of the City of Alameda are hereby
authorized and directed. to cancel the sams on their respective books.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, anything in. this resolution to the contrary
notwithstanding, thot this resolution end order shall not be construed as
cancelling, or authorizing the cancellation of, any special assessment taxes
levied against said real property by the City of Alamedu pursuant to the
Provisions of the "Acquisition and improvement Act. of 1925".
