IITEELEAS, certain moneys have been delivered. to and received by the City
of Alameda from the State of California and. deposited in the Special Public Health
Fund pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 8, Division 1, ot 2, of the Vhalth
and Safety Code of the State of Califorrdh (Chapter 1562, Statutes of 1947, as
amended) and the provisions of Resolution Wn. 3850, adopted by this Council on
Nhvember 18, 1947; and
WELIEFAS, the sum of S11,845.50 has been expended from the General Fund
for the purposes authorized in ..,1 act referred 1,) and in said resolution, namely,
for public health purposes;
