WHEREAS, the City Engineer has idrwpared Soecifications Special
Provisions and Plans for furnishing and erecting chain link fonpes in
Washington RarkE numbered RW $-55-4 and. filed. in. the office of the City Clwrk
on liMrch 15, 1955;

that the aforesaid Sehcifinitions, Shecial Provisions and Plans, nunhered and
filed as aforesaid, De, and 11 same are hereby approved and adopted-
NESOINED, FURTHER, that the performance and crERlotion of the work
specified in said Srhcificatrons and Provisions be, and the sanm is hereby
authorized.
RERILVED, FURTHER, that the Coancil of the City of Alameda will
14C044i440 sealed bids up to the hour 3 8:05 ovolock P. M. on Tuesday, April •
1955, for the furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools
and ecuirment necessary. for the work hereinabove referred. to, in accordance
with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City
Clerk, in the City Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed. cover and
markod on the outside, "Proposal for Furnishing and Erecting Chain
Ldnk Fences in Washington. Barkm, or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awherded suOject to the provisions of
the '3 11 of the City of Alanhde, to the responsible bidder who submits the
lowest best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospchtive
bidder on application to the City Engineer, at 1 office in the City Hall,
Alamwda, California.
The city Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, 1 the Alameda-
Times-Star a notice calling for sealed bids, 131 accordanwe with the provisions
of this resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

in regular meeting assembled. on. the 15th day of March, 1955, by the following
