RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIP Of 101, CITY OF ALAEEDA that Specifications,
Special. Provisions and. Plods rresared by the City- Ekgineer fox the installation
of Storm Sewer Idne "B" along:Flower Lane from Beach Ro1 d. to island Road, Bay
Farm Island, Jinberod. PW 5-55-6 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on
karch 15, 1555, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVFD, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the,work
specified in said Specifications and Provisions se, and. the same is hereby
authorized.
RESOLVED, FLTTOTER, that the Council of the City of Alameda skill
receive snaled. bids up to the hour of 8:05 oiclock P. NW on Tuesday, April 5,
1955, for the furnishing to the•City of all labor, materials, machinery, •
tools alad equipment necessary. for the work hereinabove referred to, in
accordance with said. Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to
the City Clerk, in the Oity Hall, 111 Alameda, California, under sealed cover
and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Installation of Storm Sewer
Ldne "BF along 30 ..r Lane, from Reach Road. to Islahn Road, EAF. I.", or
similar designationg
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded sueject to 10 the provisions of
tho Charter of the City of Alameda, to thu responsible bidder who submits
the lowest and best bids The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications•and Provisions mav be had 6' any prospective
bidder on application ta, the City Engineer, at nis office in the Citp" Hall,
lameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to ..advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star a hotnee calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of
this resolution and of said Specifications and Ppovlsions.
