WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda, by Resolution. No. 5038,
duly passed and adopted on the ist day of February, 19555 designated the
precincts and oslling places and ''01' (3 the members of the precinct .boards
for the general election tabe held. im said City of Alameda on March 8, 1555,
as required by lay, for the object and purpose of electing three Councilmen. of
said. City of Alameda; and
WHEREnS, pursuant to Resolution No. 5035 adopted by said Council en
january 18, 1 said Council called and ordsred held. in said.. City of Alameda
on said 'March .8, 1955 a special municipal charter amendment election for the
purpose of 111 to the qualified electors of said. City the tts charter
amendment proposals hereinafter specified, which said special 001 201,

WEERFAS, pursuant to Ordinance Ns. 1144 adopted by. said. Council on

1. Tnat the City Clerk. of the City of Alameda be, and is hereby,
instructed to enter this resolution o'1 . the minutes of this Council as a
statement of the result of said election.
2. That the total number of votes cast in said. City at said
election was 10,475. That no ballots were spoiled a'1 d. not counted.
3. Ttat at said election the following measure for incurring bonded
indebtednessnos submitted to the electors of said City and. that tbo number of
votes given in said. City for and against said meanure (including absentee votes)
was as follows:

municipal golf course and club house to he constructed
on land owned or to be owned by the City, including

ment of fairways and traps, club and service buildings
and equipment, and water and sprinkler systems, sanitary

pipes, fittings, valves, sprinklers, wells, pumps,
reservoir, culverts, machinery, apparatus and equipment
