CONSENTING TO SUBLEASE TO THE UNITED STATES OE AMERICA
OF REAL PROPERTY UNDER LEASE BY CITY OE ALAMEDA TO
KATE G. PEDERSEN
WHEREAS, Kate G. Pedersen is the Lessee of certain real property owned by
the City of Alameda, which property is generally described in Ordinance No. 849 New
Series of the City of Alameda, said Ordinance Nu. 949 New Series being hereby referred
to and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, said Lessee is about to enter into an agreement of lease with the
United States of America (Department of Navy) subletting the aforementioned real pro-
perty for a term of one year, commencing July 1, 1955, with one-year options to renew
for a total term of five years or until June 30, 1960; and
WHEREAS, the United States of America requires the consent of the City of
Alameda to said sublease, as provided. by the terms of the lease between said City and
Kate G. Pedersen;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the
City of Alameda does hereby consent to the sublease hereihabove described between Kate
G. Pedersen, Lessor, and the United States of America, Lessee; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor of the City of Alameda be, and he is
hereby authorized and directed to execute, and the City Clerk to attest, the consent
of the City of Alameda to said sublease.
