ADOETING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR INSTALLATION OF '0-0 DRAINS AND DITCHES 00 TEE
NEW J01 COURSE, CALLING FOR BIDS Mn. DIRECTING CITY
CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, Inc City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans for installation of storm drains and ditches for the new Golf Course, num-
bered YW 4-55-9 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on April 19, 1955;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications; Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work speci-
fied in saJd Specifications and Previsions be, and the same, is hereby authorized,
11 SCI FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed Lids up to the hour of 8:05 o'clock P. M. on Tuesday, May ";, 1955, fcr the
furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment
necessary for Inc work bereinabove referred to, in accordance with s aid Specifications
a:std. Provisiona. Bids rruat be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall in Ala-
meda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal
for installation of Storm Drains and Ditches for New Golf Course", or similar desig-
nation.
Contract, if awarded, uill be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said bpecifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in Inc City Hall, Alameda, Cali-
fornia,
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-SLar,
a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions,
