WHEREAS, the City EnpAneer has prepared. Specifications, Special Provisions
and. Plans for installntion of a storm sewer lateral on 3]. n- Avenue East of Park
Street, numbered 1 -775-10 and filed. in the office of the City. Clerk on Mu 3, 1955;
NOW THFaEFORE, 1' IT•RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY 8' ALAMEMA that
the aforesaid. Specifications, Special Provisions and. Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved. and. adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and. completion of the work speci-
fied ie. said Specifications and Provisions be, and. the same ie hereby. sutherized,
RESOLVED, FUETITAR, that. the Council of tho City of Alameda. will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 8105 o,clock P. M, 11 '3. May 17, 1955, for the
furnAshing to the City. of mil labor, materials, nachAnery, tools and equipment neces-
sary for the work hereinabove referred. to, in accordance with said Specifications
and Provisions. Bidm muat be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Fall, in
Alameda, California, umMer sealed cover and. plainly mapked on the outside, ."Freposal
for Installmalcu of Storm Sewer Lateral on Blanding Agenee", or similmr designation,
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible biddmr who submits the lowest and

The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Tinns-Star
a notice. calling for scpeled. bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specificationn and Provisions.
