RESOLUTION NO. 5104
ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR REPAIR. 05' PORTLAND CMIENT CONCRETE SIDEWALK,
DRIVTNAY, CURB AND GUTTER FOR FISCAL YEAR ENDING JURE
30, 1956, CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK
TO ADYERISE SAME.
WEEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special
Provisions and Plans for repair of Portland Cement Concrete Sidewalk, Driveway,
Curb and Gutter for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1956, which are numbered PIN
5-55-13 and were filed in the office of the City Clerk on May 17, 1955;
NOW THEREFORE, 3E IT RESOLVED MY THY COUNCIL OF 11F CITY OF ALAMEDA
that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and
filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work
specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby,
authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the tour of 8:05 ofclock P. M. on Tuesday, June 7, 1955, for the
furnishing to the City of all labor,-materials and equipment necessary for re-
pairing and/ or constructing Portland Cement Concrete sidewalk, driveway, curb
and Eutter in the streets o f the City of Alameda for the fiscal year ending Tune
30, 1956, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be
presented to the City Clerk, in the City Eall, in Alumeda, California, under
seeded cover and plainly marked on the outside "Proposal for Repair of SideWelk,
Curb and Cutter", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of
the Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The riEht is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Special Provisions may be had by any prospective
bidder on application to the City EnEineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda,
California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-
Star a notice callinE: for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this
resolution and of said Specifications and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda
in regular meeting assembled on the 17th day of Say, 1953, by the following vote,
to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Haag, Hove, Moresi and Vice-Mayor McCall, (4).
NOES: None,
ABSENT: President Kranelly, (1).
