AUTHORIZING GRANTING OF TEMPORARY REVOCABLE PERMIT TO
THE PACIFIC GAS AND ELECTRIC COMPANY TO INSTALL AND
MAINTAIN SUBMARINE POWER CABLES OVER AND ACROSS CITY
OWNED TIDE LANDS IN SAN ANTONIO ESTUARY.
WHEREAS, the Pacific Gas and Electric Company is about to install a sub-
marine cable in and under the San Antonio Estuary for the purpose of supplying to
the City of Alameda additional needed electric power; and
WHEREAS, said cable, in being laid across the estuary, will pass over
certain. City owned tide lands and the Pacific Gas and Electric Company has requested
that the City issue it a permit to install and maintain such cable over and across
said tide lands; and
WHEREAS, Public interest and necessity require that such permit he Franted
in accordance with the terms and conditions of that certain form of Permit prepared
and submitted to the Council at its regular meeting of June 21, 1955 and ordered
filad with the City Clerk of said City and marked "Filed June 21, 1955";
NOW THEhEFORE, SE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor of the City be, and he is hereby authorized and directed to execute, and
the City Clerk to attest, on behalf of the City of Alameda, a temporary revocable
permit to install and maintain a submarine power cable over and across the tide
lands described in said form of Permit, substantially in the form and containing
the terms and conditiona set forth In the aforesaid form of Permit, which terms and
conditions are hereby approved.

and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regular
meeting assembled en the 21st day of June, 1955, by the following vote, to wit:
