AUTHORIZING THE MAKING C AN ORDER APPROVING PETITION
FOR THE FORMATION OF A RECLAMATION DISTIllOT WITHIN
THE C TY OF ALAMEDA. Laza__
WHEREAS, there was presented to the Council of the City of Alameda. the
Petition of Utah Construction Company for the formation of a. reclamation district
within the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, in pursuance of the provisions of Division 15 of the Water Code
of the State of California, a full and. complete hearing on. said Petition was had
before said Council, the proponents and opponents of said Petition being repre-
sented. by cpunsel, and following which hearing thb matter 33.3 submitted for decision
by said Council; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City. of Alameda Las found and determinez and.

1. That the statempnts set forth in the aforementioned Petition are
correct.
2. That. each. and. 31" (3' of the requests and petitions filed. in the afore-
mentioned hearing and. asking for the exclusion of certain lands from the proposed
reclamation '13.39 ((3 should be denied.
3. That all acts an3 . thinmm necessary and precedent to the mpking of a
decision in the matter of said Petition for thw formation of a recinmation district
and to be done by said Council have been d33 ly. and regularly done and performed in
accordance with law;
NOW THERMFORE RE IT RESOLVED BY THE COENCIL OF' THE CITY OF' ALAMEDA an
follows:
1. That the Petition of Utah Construction Company for the formation of a
reclamation district plthin the City of Alameda be, and the same is hereby approved,
2. That the Mayor of the City of Alambda be, and he is hereby authorized
and. directed to make and sign, and the City Clerk to attest, as the ant and deed. of
the Council of the City- of Alameda, an Order azor0 vin7 said Petition, which Order
shall be in Mne form of the copy of said order hereunto annexed, stick. is hereby
approved, marked Exhibit "A", and by reference mad.e a part hereof.
3. That all requests and 1(3(31 4.33.. for the exclusion of certain lands
from thm proposed district be, and they are Zereby denied,
the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and. regularly kntroduced an adopted by the Council of thb City of Alameda in regal-
lar meeting assembled on the 2nd day of August, 1955, tzt the following vote, to wit:
