RESOLUTION NO. 5724
APPROVING FIRST SUPPLEMENTAL MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT
FOR EXPENDITURE ON GAS TAX ALLOCATION FOR MAJOR CITY
STREETS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION THEREOF.
WHEREAS, the State of California, through its Department of Public Works,
Division of Highways, has presented a First Supplemental Memorandum of Ayreement,
in accordance with a project statement submitted for expenditure ty the City of the
gas taK allocated under the provisions of Sections 194 and 21.07 of the Streets and
Highways Code, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 195d, for streets of major
importance other than State highways, in the City of Alameda; and
WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents of said sc-reoeent
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF' THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
said project statement be, and. it is hereby, adopted as the budget of proposed
expenditures of the gas tax allocated for streets of major importance, and said
First Supplemental. Memorandum of Agreement be, and the same is hereby approved,
and the Mayor of the City, and the City Clerk, are directed to sign the same on
behalf of said City, said agreement to be binding upon. the City upon its execution
by the authorized officials of the State.
