RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA
APPROVING TN FRINCIPCE THE JOINI2 DEVELOPMENT AND
USAGE WITH THE ALAMEDA UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT OF
THAT CERTAIN 18.8-ACRE TRACT OF LAND CONTAINED
RTITHIN SOUTH SHORE UNIT NO. 1.
WHEREAS, a certain plan for joint development and usage between the City
of Alameda and the Alameda Unified School District has been evolved relating to
that certain 18.6-acre tract of land contained within South Snore Unit No. 1; and
WiEFAS, the Council of the City of Alameda haa studied such plan known
RS "Proposed Cooperative Development of the Souttahore Schcol--Park Site", dated
March 4, 1958; and
WHEFEAS, it ic the opinion of the Council that the implementation and
actual development of such plan will be in the best interests of the City of
Alameda;
NOW' PHFREFOE, BE IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the plan for joint usage and development of that certain 18.8-acre trant of land
contained within South Shore Unit Nc. 1 and referred to above bet and in hereby
approved in principle.
