AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH BAY VIEM
DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION IN TEE MATTER 0. COMPLETION
OF IMPROVEMENTS IN THAI CERTAIN SUHDIVISION KNOWN
AS TRACT NO. 1119.
WHEREAS, the Bay View Development Corporation bas prepared for approval by
this Council the Final Map of that certain subdivision known as Tract No. 1849; and
WHEREAS, said Bay View Development Corporation has requested the City- of
Alameda to authorize the construction of the improvements in said subdivision sub-
sequent to the approval by the City Council of said Final Map, and has signified its
willingness to enter into an agreement with the City of Alameda for the construction
of said improvements, and to post a bond guaranteeing faithful performance of said
work, all in accordance with the provisions of City of .41.4meda Ordinance No. 1206
N. S.; and
WHEREAS, the City Council believes that It will be te the advantage and
benefit of the City of Alameda to have said work performed; and
WHEREAS,
a form of agreement covering the construction of the improve-
ments in said Tract No 1849 has been prepared and submitted to this Council;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED HY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF At DA that
the form of agreement hereinbefore referred to and all the terms and provisions
thereof, be, and the same are hereby, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager of the City of Alameda be
and he is hereby, authorized to execute said agreement or behalf of the it of
Alameda, and the City Clerk of the City of Alameda is hereby directed to attest to
same.
