AMENDING SALARY RESOLUTION NO. 5814 BY ABOLISHING
ONE POSITION OF JUNIOR STENOGRAPHER-CLERK AND CREATING
ONE POSITION OF SENIOR STENOGRAPHER-CLERK IN THE
SOCIAL SERVICE DEPARTMENT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY CF ALAMEDA that a portion of
subsection 8, Paragraph 2, Section 2, of Resolution No. 5814 be amended to read as
follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this resolution shall
be August 1, 1958.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the provisions of this resolution shall supersede
those portions of Resolution No. 5314, and of any other resolution in conflict here-
with, and all such conflicting provisions are, to the extent of 3UCET, conflict only,
hereby rescinded and annulled.
