ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO TEE' CITY OF
ALAMEDA ATHLETIC SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT FOR RECREATION
DEPARTMENT FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1959,
CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
SAME-
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and
Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda of athletic supplies and eculipment
for the Recreation Department for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1959, No. MS
8-58-10, filed in the office of the City Clerk on Augus. 5, 1956, be, and the same
are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 1000 o'clock a. m. on TURSDAY, AUGUST lh, 1958, for
the furnishing to the City of said supplies and equipment for the fiscal year ending
June 30, 1959, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be
presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed
cover and plainly marked on the outside, "-eroposal for Athletic Supplies and Equip-
ment for Recreation Department for Fiscal Year Ending June 30, 1959", or similar
designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and hest bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.

I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 5th day of August, 1956, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Collischonn, Schacht and Vice President Petersen, (2).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Freeman and President McCall, (2).
