RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL, ON ITS OWN INITIATIVE,
TO REFER TO THE CITY PLANNING BOARD FOR ACTION THE
MATTER OF THE RECLASSIFICATION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY
AT LINCOLN AVENUE AND STANTON STREET FROM THE "R-2,
TWO-FAMILY RESIDENCE DISTRICT" TO THE "C-1, NEIGH-
BORHOOD BUSINESS DISTRICT".
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that pursuant to Section
11-172 of the Alameda Munluipal Code it is proposed by the Council to amend Chan-
ter 1 of Title YT. of the Alameda Municipal Code to the extent that the district
boundaries as set out in Section 11-116 be changed to place Parcels 54, 55 and 56
in Assessor's Block 233, and Parcels :15-1, 16 and 17 in Assessor,s Block 238, all
es shown on the Maps of the Assessor of the City of Alameda, in a "C-1, Neighbor-
hood Business District".
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a
certified copy of this resolution to the Planning Board of the City of Alameda.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 5th day cf August, 1958, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Collischonn, Schacht and Vice President Petersen, (2),
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilman Freeman and President McCall, (2).
