ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND
PLANS FOR CONSTR7CTION OF TEMPORARY STORM DRAINAGE
TO SERVE THE WASHINGTON PARK FILL AREA, ALAMEDA,
CALIFORNIA, CALLING FOR 9I'D AND DIRECTING CITY
CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Previsions
and Plans for construction of temporary storm drainage to serve the Washington Park
Fill Area, Alameda, California, numbered PW 5-59-13 and filed. in the office of the
City Clerk on August 19, 19.56;
NOW' THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF Ti CITY' OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special. Provisions and Flans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted-
RESOEIvEDi FURTHER, tnat he performance and completion of the work speci-
fied in skid Specifications and Provisions he, and the same is hereby authdrized,
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the our of 1005 o,clock a.m. on FRIDAY", AUGUST 29, 1955 for fur-
nishing to ti e City of all lahcr, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary
for the work hereinabove referred tc, in accordance with said Specifications and
Previsions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, ir the City Hall, Alameda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Construction of Temporary Storm Drainage to Serve the Washington Park Fill Area,
Alanda, California", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest
and best bid. inc right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on
application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City. Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star
P notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.
