RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION' OF
PORTION OF 13LT, THE CITY OF ALAMEDA.
RESOLVED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALANEDA that the public interest
regnires, and. said Council hereby declares its intention to order the vacation,
closing and abandonment of that certain portion of Ninth. Street, in the City cf Ala-
meda, County of Alameda, State of California, described R9 follows:
COYPE1MIM at the point of intarection of the southerly line
of San Antonio Avenue (formerly Kin7s Avenue), 60 feet in width,
and the easterly line of Ninth Street (formerly McPherson. Street),
6.0 feet in width, as said lines, avenue and street are shpwn on
the of Oakahade Tract, AlamedAi', filed.. July 30, 1877, in
Book 2 of Maps, Page 38, in the Office of the Recorder 0 Alameda
County;

beginning has the coordinates y 466,810.70 feet and x

convenience and necessity require the reservation to the City of Alameda of a per-

that portion. of Ninth. Street proposed to be vacated, for trip purpose of constructing,
operating, maintaining, repiacinF, renewing and repairing thereon storm and sanitary
sewers, or either of them, and said permanent easement anO right-of-way fcr the afore-
said purposes is hereby reserved to the City of Alameda and excepted from the vaca-
tion of said portion of Ninth Street, over and across the following described parce8 .

directed to pest, or cause to be posted, conspicuously along the line of thh street
and parts of street proposed to be vacated, notices of such vacation, in the form and.
manner required by tte legislative act hereinafter mentioned,
HESCLVED, FURTHER, that in the herein. proposed vacation of said street or
portion of street aforementioned, the CounciR of the City of Alameda hereby elects to
proceed under and in pursuance of tho provisions of the Street Vacation. Act of Ma
of the State of California (Chapter 250, Statutes of 3 9412, as amended,
RESOLVED, FURTRER, that as a condition for the vacation of Ninth Street
referred to above, the abutting owners. of said property to be vacated. to whom said.

Engineer of the City of Alameda, to the end. that the lagoon area be made inaccessible
