WHEREAS, the Alameda Chamber of Commerce is willing to undertake thp work
of advertising ths City of Alameda and to carry on ME ths necessary publicity for
salE City during the fiscal. year ending June 302 1959; and.
WHEREAS, the produotion of such advertising and publicity requires special
services of a professional and technical nature and special technical skill and
facilities;
NUE THERE:MORE, BE IT SESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY ALAMPIDA that
the City of Alameda enter into a contract with the Alamda SPamber of Commerce for
the carrying eon be said Chamber of Commerce of all necessary publicity and. advertio-
ing on behalf of the City of Alameda for the fiscal ynar ending june 30, 1959.
RESOLVED, FURTHER that a form 4 contract to be entered into by and.
between tho Alameda Chamber of Commerce and. the City of Alameda, submitted to the
Council. and flied with the City Clerk of the City of Alameda on October 7, 1958, and
the terms,.agreements and provisions thereof bn, anA the same are herpby approved.
REMIXED, FURTHR, that the Mayor of the City of' Alameda. in hereby author-

Alameda, a. contract substantially in the form and cnntaining the covenants, agree-

amended. by 11 1'1 962 New Sories, the sum of 119,000.00 be, and is hereby
appropriated out of the General Fund of the City to be used for publicity or adver-
tising for said City for 14' fiscal year ending jlarle 30, 1999, in the 1.43 and for
the purposes provided in said Ordinance No. 621a New Series, as amended.
