Resolution 05864RE.`;OLUTIOX NO. 5864 RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ORDER THE VACATION OF PUBLIC UTILITY EASEMENTS IN BLOCK 6, TRACT 1866, SOUTH SHORE UNIT 80. 1 IN THE GITY OF ALAMEDA. RESOLVEDBY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the public interest requires, and said Council hereby declares its intention to order the vacation of cer- tain public utility easements in Block 6, Tract 1866, South Shore Unit No. 1, in the City of Alameda, shown on Map recorded October 30, 1957 in Map Book 38, pages 50 to 54, inclusive, in the office of the ounty Recorder of Alameda, State of California, described as follows: Five-foot public utility easements extending 55' westerly from the most westerly line of Lot 11, Block 6, in the above described map and lying along the sidelines between Lots 1 and 2, 3 and 4, 5 and 6, 7 and 8, and 9 and 10. Ten-foot public utility easements lying on both. sides of the most westerly line of Lot 11 extending 530' from a point 3, northerly of the most southerly line of block 6 to a point 3' southerly of the most northerly line of said Bleck 6. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the 16th day of December, 1958, at 730 o'clock p.m. of said day, in the COUNCIL CHAMBERS in the CITY HALL, at the northwest corner of Santa Clara Avenue and Oak Street, Alameda, California, be, and the same is hereby, fixed as the time and place for hearing by the Council of said City of all persons interested in or objecting to the proposed vacation. RESOLVED, FTJRTHER, that the City Clerk of the City of Alameda is hereby directed to cause this resolution to be published, in the manner prescribed by law for the publishing of ordinances of the City of Alameda, in the Alameda Times-Star, a daily newspaper of general circulation published and circulated in said City, and the official newspaper thereof. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the City Clerk of the City of Alameda is hereby directed to post, or caused to be posted, conspicuously along the line of the ease- ments proposed to be vacated, notices of such vacation, in the form and manner required by the legislative act hereinafter mentioned. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that in the herein proposed vacation of easements afore- mentioned, the Council of the City of Alameda hereby elects to proceed under and in pursuance of the provisions of Sections 50430 and 50445, inclusive, of the Government Code of the State of California. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the easements to be vacated. are shown on the above referred to Map of Tract 1866, recorded October 30, 1957 in the office of the County Recorder of Alameda County, and a copy of which Map is on file in the office of the City Clerk of the City of Alameda, said easements appearing on Sheet 8 of 9 Sheets. * * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu- lar meeting assembled on the 18th day of November, 1958, by the ollowing vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Oollischenn, Freeman, Petersen, Schacht and President McCall, (5).
