RESOLUTION NO, 5,975
AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO ENFLOY SPECIAL LEGAL
COUNSEL AND FIXING THE COMPENSATION THEREFOR,_
WHERAS, Section 8-5 of the City Charter of the City of Alameda provides
that the Council my empower the City'Attorney, at his request, to employ special
legal counsel; and
()HEREAS, the City Attorney has requested the authority to employ special.
legal counsel;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY F COUNCIL OF THE CITY C ALAMEDA that
the City Attorney is hereby authorized and empowered to employ :ROBERT T. ANDERSON
ss special legal counsel at the compensation of Twenty-five (25.00) Dollars par
hour, for a total sum not to exceed Fifteen Hundred (1500.0C) Doliara.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing leesclution was duly
and rep7plarly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 16th day of December, 1958, by the following vote,
