ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY
OF ALAMEDA:ONE (1) NEW, 1959 LATEST MODEL 8-CYLINDER,
4-DOOR SEDAN, WITH 111 TRANSMISSION, FOR FIRE
CHIEF, LING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO
ADVERTISE SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF TRE CITY OF ALAMEDA that the Specifications and
Provisions for furnishing to the City of Alameda one (1) new, 1959 latest model 8-
O ylinder, R-door sedan, with automatic transmission, for the Fire Chief, No. MS
filed in the office of the City Clerk on January 6, 1.959, he, and the same ara hereby
approved and adopted,
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receivo
sealed bies'up to the hour of 10:00 ofolock a. m. on THURSDAY jArJARY 15, 1909, . for
furnishing to the City of said automobile, in apcordance uith said Specifieatiohs
and Provisions. Bide must de presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Ala-
meda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, ''Probosal
for R-door sedan for lire Chief", or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded. subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who suhrits the lowest 6161 best bid.
The right is reserved. to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times7Star,
notice calling for sealed. bids, in accordance with the rProvisirns of this resolu-
tion and of said 11 1131 and Provisions.
