RESOLUTION NO. 5896
AMENDING SALARY RESOLUTION NO. 5814 NY CHANGING THE
SALARIES OF THE ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER AND THE
DIRECTOR OF RECREATION AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that a portion of
subsection 8, Paragraph 2, Section 2, of Resolution No 5814 be amended to read as
follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the incumbents of both said positions be placed
in Step E of their respective Range number.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the effective date of this resolution shall be
February 1, 1959.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the provisions of this resolution shall supersede
those portions of Resolution No. 5814 and Resolution No. 5878, and of any other reso-
lution in conflict herewith, and all such conflicting provisions are, to the extent
of such conflict only, hereby rescinded and annulled.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 3rd day of February, 1959, by the following vote, to
wit:
AYES: Councilmen Colliechonn, Freeman, Petersen, Schacht and
President McCall, (5).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
