ADOPTING SPECIIKCATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
POR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A DRIVING RANGE AT THE ALAMEDA
MUNICIPAL GOLF COURSE, GALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING,
CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, toe City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions
and Paans for the construction of a driving range at the Alameda Municipal Golf
Coorse, numbered PW a--i79-2 and filed in the office ot the City Clerk on Marsb 17,
1959;
NOW TEERERORE, BE IT RESCNIOD BY RHE COUNCIL Of THE CITY ap ALAmou that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions on Plans, numbered. and. filed as
aforesaid, be, and. the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work speci-
fied in said Specifications and Provisions be, and tho same is hereby' authorized,
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will teceive
S ealed bids up to the lo 0' of 10:00 o'clock a.m. on THURSDAY', APRIL 2, 1959 for fur-
nishing to the City of all labor, materials, macRineryw tools and.eouipment necesaary
for the work hereinabove referred. to, in accordance with said Specifications and Pro-
visions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City HR11, Alameda,
CaliforniR, under sealed cover and plainly' marked on the 31'" 0', "Proposal for
Construction of Golf Course Driving fiRnKf, or similar designation-
Contract, if awarded, will be amarded subject to the provisions of the
Certer of the City of Alameda, to the vesponsible bidder who submitR the lowest and
bont bid. The right is reserved. to reject any or all blds.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by' any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engibeer, at his office in the City HR11, Alameda,
CRlifornia.
The City Clerk. is --reby directed. to advertise, in the AlamedR Times-Star,
a notibe calllng for sealed bids., in accordance with the provisions 3, this resole-
tion and. of said iRecifioations and. Provisions.
