AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF A LEASE BY AND BETWEEN
THE CITY OF 11' Do LESSOR, AND UNITED STATES OP
AMERICA, LESSEE (NNE. CORNER GRAND AND CLEMENT)._
WHERFAS, a form of lease has been proposed between the City of Alameda, as
lessor, and the Gnited States of Amorira, as lessee, relating to a triangular portion
of land at tEe northeast corner of Grand Street and Clement Avenue in the City of
Alameda, containing. 0.198 acres, more or less; and.
WHEREAS, a copy of said. lease is on file in the office of the City. Clerk
of the City of Alameda marked "Filed, April 7, 1959P, and the Council of the City of
Alamedp is informed and. aware of tEe contents of said lease;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE COUNEIL OF THE CITY OE ALAMEDA that
the Mayor of the City of Adameda be, and Pe is hereby, authorized to execute, for and.
on behalf of the City of AlamedA, that certain lease referred to above. The City
ClErk is hereby. directed to attest to same.
