ADOPTING STECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR THE INSTALLATION OF HOUSE LATERALS FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1960, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO A=TISE SAME,
WREREAS, the City Engineer Las prepared Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans for the installation of house laterals from the street laterals to the
property line, and other work appurtenant thereto, for the fiscal year ending Jane 30,
1960, numbered PW .5-59-6 and filed with the City Clerk on May 19, 1959;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the sforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed 95
aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHR, that the performance and completion of the work speci-
fied in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby, authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the Lour of 10:00 a. m. on FRIDAY, JUNE 5, 1959, for the furnish-
ing to the City of ell labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment necessary
for said work, for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1960, in accordance with said
Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City
Hall, in Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside,
"Proposal for installation of liD1136 Laterals," or similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, sill be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid.
The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on
application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions.

and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 19th day of May, 1999, by the following vote, to wit:

AND REPAIR OF ASPHALT AND BI=INCUS PAVEMENT FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 196C, CALLING FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications and Provisions for
resurfacing end repair of asphalt and bituminous pavement for the fiscal. year ending
Juno 30, 1960, which are numbered PW 5-59-7 and were filed in the office of thm City
Clerk on May 19, 1959;
NO THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEL COUMIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications and Provisions, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be,
and. the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion cf the work speci-
fied in said Specifications and Provisions be, and. the same is hereby, authorized.

California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "fropoaal for Repair
of Asphalt end Bituminous Pavement", or similar dmsignetion.

Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and beat bid.

Said Specifications and Provisions may he had by any prospective bidder on
application to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Rail, Alameda, California.
