ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS FOR FURNISHING TO THE CITY 01
ALAMEDA. FOR THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING JUNE 30, 1960,
QUARRY WASTE AND EARTH FELL AT CITY DUMP:
PAVING MIXTURES; AND
PORTLAND CENENT CONCRETE MIX;
CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE
SAME.
RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF AIAMEDA that the Specifications and
Provisions for furnitshinF:
Item (a) Quarry Waste;
Item (b) Earth Fill at City Dump,
to the City of Alameda for the fiscal year ending juna 30, 1.960, No. MS 5-59-6, ba,
and the same are hereby approved and adopted.

Medium Curing Plant-Mixed Surfacing Paving Mixtures
to the City of Alameda for the fiscal year endlnp June 30, 1960, No. MS 5-59-5, be,
and the same ere hereby approved end adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Specifications and Provisions for furnishing:
(1) Class 'A" Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix;
(0) Class ”B" Portland Cement Concrete Transit Mix,
to the City of Alameda for the fiscal year ending Juno 30, 196C, No. 1S 5-59-4, he,
and the same are hereby wpproved and adopted.
BE 17 FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 10:00 a. m. on FRIDAY, JUNE 5, 1959, for the furnishing
to the City of each and all of the above enumerated supplies, in accordance with the
individual Specifications and Provisions therefor. Bids must be presented to the
City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly
marked on the outside. with the designation of the supplies to which said bid applies.
Rids may cover one item cr a combination of items and the Council reserves the right
to let the contract for any of said supplies to one bidder or several individual
bidders.
Contracts, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of said City, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid
for any and all cf said supplies. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, In the Alameda Times-Star,
e notice calling for sealed bids in accordance with the provisions of this resolution
and of said Specifications and Provisions.
