AUTHORIZING EXEC=ON OF AaREEMENT J3 AND BETWEEN
CITY OF ALAMEDA AND THE PACIFIC TELEPHONE AND
TELEGRAPH COMPANY RELATING TO INSTALLATION OF CER-
TAIN MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT (NEW SWITCHBOARD SERVICE).
WHEREAS, new switchboard service has been installed by The Pacific Telephone
and Telegraph Company on the second floor of the City Ti], in the City of Alameda;
nnd
WHEREAS, a certain agreement relating to the retention of such equipment by
the City of Alameda has been proposed; and
WHEREAS, said agreement is the same standard type of agreement required by
The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company of all subscribers receiving the same type
of service; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda is informed and aware of the
contents of said agreement;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OE ALAMEDA that
the City Manager of the City of Alameda be, and he le hereby authorized to enter into
that certain agreement referred to above, which is on file in the office of the City
Clerk of the City of Alameda, narked "Filed May 19, 1959". The City Clark in hereby
directed to attest to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 19th day of Nay, 1959, by the following veto, to wit:
