ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR FURNISHING AND INSTALLING FLOATS IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE EXISTING, BOAT RAMP—NORTH END OF GRAND STREET,
CALLING FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK. TC ADVERTISE
SAME.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions
and Plans for furnishing and installing floats in conjunction with the existing boat
ramp—north end of Grand Street, numbered PW 6-59-9 and filed. in the office of the
City Clerk on July 21, 1959;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESCLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted,
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work speci-
fied ib said Specifications and Provisions bp, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, =ITER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bias up to the hour of 10:00 r clock U.M. on FRIDAY, JULY 31, 1959 for fur-
nishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment neces-
sary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications
and Provisions. Bid must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City. Hall, Alameda,
California, under scaled cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for
Furnishing and Installing Floats in Conjunction with the Existing Boat Ramo—North
End of Grand Street", or similar nesignation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, tc the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid. The right is reserved to reect any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on
application to the City. Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in tte Alameda Time5-Star,
a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.

and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City of Alameda in regu-
lar meeting asseMbled cn the 21st day of ouly, 1959, by the following vote, to wit:
YES: Councilmen Collischonn, Freeman, Petersen and
President McCall, (4).
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Councilmen Schacht, (1).
