AMENDING SALARY RESOLUTION NO. 5965 BY CREATING TEE
POSITION OF ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY AND ESTABLISHING
THE SALARY THEREFOR.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that a portion of
subsection 8 of paragraph 2, Section 2, of Resolution No. 5965, be amended by creat-
ing the new position of Assistant City Attorney and establishing the salary therefor,
as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the effective date of this resolution shall be
October 8, 1959.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the provisions of this resolution shall. supersede
those portions of Resolution No. 5965, and of any other resolution in conflict here-
with, and all such conflicting provisions are, to the extent cf such conflict only,
hereby rescinded and annulled.
