FOR INSTALLATION OF A STORM DRAINA:',E SYSTEM OK 6ALNI3T
STREET FROM LINCOLN AVENUE TO IHE ESTUARY, CALLING
FOR BIDS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TC ADVERTISE SAME.
ViEDEAS, the City Enczineer has prepared Specifications Special Provisions
and Plans for the installation of a storm drainage system on Walnut Street from Lin-
coln Avenue to the Estuary, numbered PW 1.0-59-17 and filed in tho office of the City
Clerk on October 27, 1959;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED EY T COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA th,at
the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work Jpeci-
fled in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 o'clock a.m. or FRIDAY, NO'VEMBER 11, 1959 for
furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment neces-
sary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and
Provisions, Bids mast be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alemda,
California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "?roronal for
installation of a Storm Drainage System on Walnut Street from Lincoln Avenue to the
Estuary", cr similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions cf the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits Inc lowest and.

Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on
applicatinn to the City Engineer, at his office in the City Hall, Alameda, California.
City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise in the Alameda firlee-Ster,
a no tie oalflog for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of thls resolu,
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.
