APPOINTING TIME AND PLACE FOR ELECTION OF BOARD
OF TRUSTEES OF RECLAMATION DISIDICT NO, 2087
AND APPOINTINS AN ELECTION BOARD.
WHEREAS, the Board of Trustees of Reclamatipn District No 21s, acting
pursuant to Section 50731 of the Water Cods of the State of Caltifornia, has requested
the Council of the City of Alameda to appoint a. timo and place for holding an aleo-
ti8n of 8. board of trustees for said District and to apocipt an election board for
said election as provided.. by law; and
WHEREAS, the Council has found and determined that, pursuant to the pro-
visions of Sections 50601, 50602 and 50730 of the Water Code of the State of Cali-
fornia . and the by-flaps of said District, a board of trustees having five (5) mumters
shall be elected by the landcwpars cf said District ovary four 0 10 yeats; and
WHEREAS, the term of office of all present members of the Board of Trus-
tees of said District having expired on September 27, 1.95H, it is necessary and pro-
per that the Council. make an rOr on said applicstion;
NOW THEREFOIEE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL, OF THE CITY 01 ALAMEDA as
followst
I. That an election, in compliance with the provisions of Part 4 of
Division 5 of the Water Code of the State of California, at which there shall be
electod five (8) eligitie persons, each to be elected for a term of four (h) years,
who shall constitute, when elected and qualified, the Board of Trustees of Reclama-
tion District No. 2087, shall be held on FRIDAY, the 11 th. day of DECEMBER, 1959, at
1920 Otis Drive, in the City of Alameda, State of California, the same being a place
within said District.
2. That the following three (3) landowners in Reclamation District No.
2087 are hereby. appointed. to act as the election board. for ssid election:
Dorothy E. Krehwisch
Rope McHugh
Dorothy Christianer
Ihdt said Dorothy E. Krehwisch is hereby appointed Inspector of said
election and said Hope McHugh. and Dorothy Christlaner are Hereby appointed. Judges
of said election.
4.„ That the CIty Clerk, in compliance with the provisions of Section
50782 of the Water Code of the State of California, shall. cauao a notice of said.
election to be published in the Alameda Times-Star, on each day said newspaper is
published, codnelxding on November 6, 1959, and continuing to and including
December 7, 1959.
