Resolution 06025RESOLUTION NO, 6025 ADOPTING SPECIFICATIONS, SPECIAL PROVISIONS AND PLANS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF A STORM WATER PUMPING STATION IN THE VICINITY OF THIRD STREET AND ATLANTIC AVENUE, CALLING FOR BIOS AND DIRECTING CITY CLERK TO ADVERTISE SAME. WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans for construction of a storm water pump plant tc be located near the nnrth side of the Woodstock School in the vicinity of Third Street and Atlantic Avenue, numbered PW 12-59-21 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on December 15, 1959; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OE ALAMEDA that the aforesaid Specifications, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as aforesaid, be, and the same are hereby approved and adopted. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the performance and completion of the work specified in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized. RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive aealed bids up to the hour of 11:0D o'clock a.m. on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 30, 1959 for furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment neces- sary for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specifications and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Clerk, in the City Hall, Alameda, California, under sealed cover and plainly marked on the outside, "Proposal for Con- struction of a Storm Water Pumping Station in the Vicinity of Third Street and Atlantic Avenue, No. P. W. 12-59-21", or similar designation. Contract, if awarded, will be awarded. subject to the prnvisions of the Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and best bid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids. Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder on application tc the City Engineer, at his office in the City Eall, Alameda, California. The City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star, a notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu- tion and of said Specifications and Provisions. * * * * * * * * * * I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City. of Alameda in regu- lar meeting assembled on the 15th day of December, 1959, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmen Collischonn, Freeman, Schacht and President MoCall, (3).
