AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT BY AND
3ETWEEN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA AND TEE ALAMEDA UNIETFD
SCHOOL DISTRICT RELATING TO THE PROVISION OF A.
PROGRAM FOR PUBLIC RECREATION IN THE CITY OF ALAMEDA.
WHEREAS, a certain agreement by and between the City of Alameda and the
Alameda Unified School District has been proposed relating to the provision of a pro-
gram of public recreation for the City of Alameda In accordance with the provisions
of Chapter 4, Division 12, of the Education Code of the State of California; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Alameda is informed and aware of the
contents of said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the execution of said agreement is in the best interests of the
City of Alameda;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the Mayor of the City of Alameda is hereby authorized to execute, for and on behalf
of the City of Alameda, that certain agreement relating to the provision of a program
of public recreation for the City of Alameda, by and between said City- and the Alameda
Unified School District, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to attast to same.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by the Council of the City cf Alameda in regu-
lar meeting assembled on the 5th day of January, 1960, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Councilmen Collischonn, Freeman, Petersen, Schacht and
President McCall, (5),
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
