CANCELLING CITY TAXES ON PROFFRTY ACQUIRED BY THE
CITY OF ALAMEDA FOR MUNICIPAL PUIrRROSES (TILDEN WAY)•
WHEREAS, the following described real property, situated in the Cit of
Alameda, County of Alameda, State of California, to-wit:
Tax Bill Nc, 9275, 1959-1960; ASSOS3Dr'S Flock 196, Plats 1,
Frances A. Rosenberg and Barbara R. Rausher; 1631 Everett Street,
has been assessed heretofore for City purposes for the fiscal year 1959-1960, and
tuxes levied. thereon in the sum of 16.97 are uncollected and unpaid; and
WHEREAS, after the time said taxes or assessments became a lien on said
real property, it was, by Deed recorded in the office of the County Recorder of Ala-
meda County on or about December 2, 1959, in Book 9230, at page 101 of Official
Records (AQ 14.207), acquired, end ever since has been and now is owned by the City
cf Alameda, and has been and now is being used for public purposes, and because of
such public ownership is not subject to sale for delinquent taxes;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL CF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA, with
the written consent of the City Attorney attached hereto, that all uncollected taxes
charged or levied for City purposes upon the aforesaid real property, together with
oenalties and costs thereon, be, and the same are hereby, cancelled, and the Auditor
and the Tax Collector of the City of Alameda are hereby authorized and directed to
cencel the same on their respective books.
I, Ralph Reisner, Acting City Attorney of the City of Alameda, State of
California, do hereby consent to the cancellation cf any and all uncollected taxes
and assessments and penalties and costs thereon, charged or levied for City pur-
poses upon the parcel of real property described in the within Resolution.'
