REQUESTING CANCELIkTION OF COUNTY TAXES ON- PROPEUY
ACQUIRED BY THE CITY CF AIAMFDA FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES

WHEREAS, the real property situated in the. City of Alameda, County of Ala-
meda, State of California, described as follows:
ASSESSED OWNER: Rosenberg and Rausher, 1631 Everett Ft.

has beer assessed heretofore for County purposes for tha fiscal year 1959-196C, and
taxes levied thereon (2nd installment) in the sum of $58.32 are uncollected and unpaid;
and
WHEREAS, after the time said assessment and taxes became a lien on said real
property, it was, by Deed recorded in the office of the County recorder of Alameda
County on or about December 2, 1959, in Rook 9230, at page 101 of Official Records
(AQ, 142407), acquired, and ever since has been, and now is, owned by the City of Ala-
meda, and has teen and now is being used for public purposes, and because of such
nubile ownership is not subject to sale for delinquent taxes:
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED EY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ALAMEDA. that
the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda be, and it is hereby requested to
make its order, and to take such further proceedings-an may be necessary, to cause
all uncollected taxes, assessments, penalties or costs charged or levied for County
purposes upon the aforesaid parcel of real property, to be cancelled; and thst a
record of such. cancellation be made by the °Pricer or officers having custody of the
record thereof, in accordance with the provisions of Section 4966 of the Revenue and
Taxation Code of the State of California.
RESOLVED, FUEE'HER, that the City Clerk forward four (4) certified copies of
this resolution forthwith. to the 3eard of Supervisors cf the County of Alameda,
