ADPTING SPECIRICATIONS, SPECIAI PROVISIONS AND PLANS
FOR conyraucTIoN OF STORM CULVERTS ON LINCOLN AVENUE
FROM BAY STREIT TO NINTH STREET, CALI:INS FOR BIDS AND
DIRECTING CITY. cLEEa TO ALNERTISE SAME,
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has prepared Specifications, Special Provisions
and Ricans for the construction of storm culverts on Lincoln Avenue from Bay Street
to Ninth Street, numbered. PW 12-59-20 and filed in the office of the City Clerk on
January 19, 1960;
O,1 THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OE' THE CITY OF ALAMEDA that
the aforesaid Specificatipns, Special Provisions and Plans, numbered and filed as
aforesaid, be, and the same are nerely approved and adopted.
RERRRVED, FRRTEER, that the performance Inc completion of the work speci-
fied in said Specifications and Provisions be, and the same is hereby authorized.
RESOLVED, FURTHER, that the Council of the City of Alameda will receive
sealed bids up to the hour of 11;00 o'clock a. m. on FRIDAY, JANUARY 29, 1960 fhr
furnishing to the City of all labor, materials, machinery, tools and equipment neces-
sary' for the work hereinabove referred to, in accordance with said Specificattons
and Provisions. Bids must be presented to the City Ulerk, in the City Hall, Alamada,
California, under sealed cover and plainly masi2,ted on the outside,"Proposal for Con-
struction of Storm Culverts on Lincoln Avenue from Bay Street to Ninth Street," or
similar designation.
Contract, if awarded, will be awarded subject to the provisions of the
Charter of the City of Alameda, to the responsible bidder who submits the lowest and
best bid- The right 4.3 reserved to reject any or all bids.
Said Specifications and Provisions may be had by any prospective bidder
on application to the City Engineer, at his office in thn City Rail, Alameda,
California.
Ire City Clerk is hereby directed to advertise, in the Alameda Times-Star,
notice calling for sealed bids, in accordance with the provisions of this resolu-
tion and of said Specifications and Provisions.
I, the undersigned, hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
and regularly introduced and adopted by. the Council of the City of Alameda. in rczu-
lar meeting assembled on the 1990 day of January, 196.0, by the following vote,
